We reached Mahnar, one of the first Church in Bihar on 15 May,2007, We had evening service at 6 Pm with 20 members people. The next morning we proceeded towards Mumrejpure. It is a new area 20 km from our pastor Bagwan Pandit and also from Mahnar road where we stay. As there is not pond or water arrangement in this area, we invited them to come to Pastor Bogwan residence for baptism. This are a new church we established by this time. Some could not take water baptism during our visit as they are engaged in different duties in different places. In our next visit we will have more people baptised in this new church (area).
The next day (17 May) we had a meeting at Biddhupur in brother Raju's house and 10 people take water baptism in Jesus name. And our saints invited us to visit their houses after the baptism service. We had very good fellowship with them in their houses and had tea and snacks. In the evening we return back to our station.
The next day (18 May), we had another meeting at pastor Bagwan Pandit residence, about 65 people attended the meeting at 10 a.m. We had wonderful service, after the church service 14 people are baptised in Jesus name and 11 received the Holy Ghost. We all had luch together in the same building after luch we had very good fellowship with different people coming from different direction and places.
All the above mentioned baptised members are from the hindu family. They have very great faith in Jesus and Jesus name water baptism is the only true way of baptism. Without faith it is not possible for them take water baptism as they have very strict rules in their society. God heard our humble prayer and adding more to His kingdom. We have now 96 water baptised in Jesus name and six Churches in Bihar. We have two workers looking after our six churches sponsoring by Dum Dum Church.
19 May, we proceeded towards Jharkhan to visit our small group of people. We reached the next day (20 May). During our journey our train got burn at 2.30 a.m. All the pasangers took their belongings and rushed outside the train to save their lives. It was terrible and very nervous moment for all. The smoke covered the whole boogies no one could see each other. The fire started under the seat of Pasoter Daniel DArlong but I was save by God. Without delay I could escaped with my sleepy eyes. I understand what happening only after going out from the train. I think God has pull me out from the train because it happened during my deep sleep. Praise God for His protection. |
