In the month of January 2007, there were few things happening with our church. We have a new supervisor from North East Bro. and Sis. Oiyah.
As the Crusade time is approaching on 17 - 18 February 2007, UPC Kolkata Dum Dum is very busy with all the preparation. This time the preparation is very challenging as we have a very limited time to make sure that everything will be as perfect as it can during the big day.
The church has been fasting for the whole week in the month of January, to seek God's will for the church and seek the blessing from the Lord for this crusade. It's not an easy task for us, as we don't have so many people to be workers in this crusade. To have 500 people in this crusade is like a dream, but we believe in God. If God could bring 400 people for the first crusade in 2005, we believe that God will bring even more Kolkata's souls in this crusade.
The music team who are 100% the youth members, has been practicing very hard. We are planning to have more Bengali and hindi songs in this crusade. It is not easy because more than 60% of the music team cannot speak Bengali.
Please pray for this crusade, that God will do something great for Kolkata. That every eyes will see, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess, that there is only one God and His name is Jesus. Amen.
