About Zion Kolkata Youth Team

Zion Kolkata Youth Team was formed in July 2004. There was a great burden arose among the young people in Dum Dum Kolkata Church, to see and help the Pastor for the growth of the church. Zion team was started with 5 people in 2004 which is growing by years. By July 2006, Zion Youth Team has developed to 25 people in which 15 are regular attendants.

In 2 years since the Youth Team was formed, the church has made a big progress. Youth handle almost 90% of the church ministry, which has become a big relief to Pastor Daniel. This progress has given the biggest opportunity for Pastor Daniel to reach more souls and spread the Gospel to Bihar.

To reach out to the people and communicate the Words of God and train them to develop their faith and honor God in their life

# Zion Kolkata Youth Team Goal/Vision for 2007:
To build cell groups in particular areas, to reach more souls and spread the Words of God to other youth.

Zion Team has successfully participated in the first UPC Kolkata Crusade (The coverage report is attached), and looking forward for the second crusade.

Youth Programs:

- Youth Bible Study every Saturday 4 p.m.

- Music and Song Practice every Sunday 12:30 p.m.

Supports:

Zion Team really appreciates the support given by Tabernacle of Joy Team from Singapore, who gave the youth more confidence to grow and do more things for God. At the moment, Youth Bible Study is using the materials given by TJ. And they have been a great blessing for the Youth and especially for UPC Dum Dum church.

Financial:

The Zion Youth team has been very faithful with their faith promise to support the Youth Team financial which is use for the Youth programs and in ministry. The Youth has also done fund raising.
